tarbots: ILOM: How To Stop, Start Or Reset Host From ILOM?

Stopping Host

Below command can be used to stop the host from ILOM

stop /SYS

If the host has to be forcibly stopped below command can be used

stop -force /SYS

Starting Host
Host can be restarted from ILOM using below command.

start /SYS

We can check the progress of the Host bootup from ILOM SP console. ILOM SP console can be launched using below command.

start /SP/console

Resetting or rebooting the Host

We can reset/reboot the Host from ILOM using below command.

reset /SYS
