INFINIBAND: How to check if there is lose cabling or bad cable connection on IB Fabric

One of the ways to identify if there is a bad cable or lose cabling on IB Fabric is to look for SymbolErrors on Ports on IB Switches. If we see SymbolErrors then that would indicate there is a bad cable or lose cabling issue.

Run below command on any of the IB Switches and check if there are any SymbolErrors on any of the Switch ports. If there are no symbol errors then that would indicate that there is no lose cabling or bad cable issue.
ibqueryerrors.pl -rR -s RcvSwRelayErrors,XmtDiscards,XmtWait
